TO ALL S13 MEMBERS:
Most of you know by now that 3 weeks ago i was on the verge of being homeless, with the only prospect of keeping in touch with all of you guys out there being a coffee shop with free wifi. As some members of S13 may already be aware I am proud to say that THIS is no longer an issue, and that I have been blessed with THREE FREAKING JOB OPPORTUNITIES AT ONCE! HOORAH!
Ahemm...Needless to say I am excited to be reemployed as jobs are scarce, especially here in California. The purpose of this message is primarily for Major S13 leaders. I will remain to be the S13 Echo Unit leader, over the next coming two months, (NOVEMBER, DECEMBER) my schedule will be fluctuating. I will be working 2 jobs and have college classes. Some days will consist of 0400-1000 hours for job 1, 1100-1500 job 2, and 1600-0100 for school, followed by the same schedule the next day, and yes that's right 5:00pm to 1:00am for SCHOOL. Days off will be few I'm sure but I am writing the current tactics for BF3 and will be posting them ASAHP. the job choices i have are:
1 Costco Warehouse, Union Building, Pay $11.00USD/PER HOUR, Distance 30 Miles Gas a week $80
2 Cinemark, Movie attendant, Pay $8.00/per hour, distance 1 mile gas $4
3 Jack in the box, Pay $8.00/per hour, distance 1 mile gas $4
No matter what jobs ill take I'll be on BF3 as much as I can afford.
Just remember that S13 is Family and Real life Responsibilities come before the clan.

My Future
OK guys I'm in day 5 of my 2 weeks until I'm homeless basically.
Some of you might ask why I'm still playing at a time like this? or Hows it Going?
Simply put:
1. time difference I see most of you at 1800 Uniform time or later.
2. Yes I'm still job searching (most don't care I bet though, can't argue there xD)
3. I have 3 interviews lined up already I just need a YES (GOD WILLING)
The main goal of this part time job is simply cash income of course to help pay bills, (most have been done with savings since I was laid off) and to pay for college
My future goal is three fold actually
1. Start a Digital Graphics media company (Making Commercials, Music Videos, advertisements Digital and hard copy, all with a few bodies of mine)
2. After or during the same time I'd also would like to start an independent gaming company or work with a gaming company (Double threat FTW)
3. Start my website for personal and business aspects.
all in all the total for the start up investment is around $25,000 USD
substantial as that may seem INTERNS that are paid at $30 USD per HOUR for a full day that's $240 or $53,000 a year not bad huh?

Alright guys I'm taking the time to write this post so that people will know whats going on.
As some of you may know I was laid off and have been looking for a job recently.
My situation hasn't grown worse over the past six months and as such I now have two weeks time to secure a job or I'll be out on the streets for for an indefinite amount of time with only coffee shop wifi to keep in touch with S13.

I live in the Yolo county/Sacramento region in California (WORST PLACE TO LOOK FOR JOBS) and I'm at my ropes end. With a truck and gas prices commuting is not ideal and in the long run counter productive to my goal (MONEY,) anything further than 14 miles from home and gas/income will be, at 20hr/week, $76/$254, per pay period at minimum wage or $8.25/hr.
Acceptable for the position I'm in currently. Ideally it would be $76/$440 for a total of $364 a pay period. Would give me more wiggle room but hey I'm not picky right now.

So that's just the heads up IF I'm luck, and God Willing, I'll get a job' otherwise I might not be on BF3 on release date or for a long time after.

S13 Basics pt. 1
BASICS
The goal of this post is two fold.
The first being the ground rules for the clan, and the second being a basic tactics for Units as well as the entire team.
RULES
1. Follow unit leaders orders: We're all equal in S13 having unit leaders however helps establish order within the clan.
2. All recruiting will be done by S13 Unit Leaders ONLY.
That means that if someone wants to join S13 THEY must talk with a Unit Leader
A List of Units and Unit Leaders is available on this blog under the "Clan Roster" entry.
3. To finalize recruitment: ANY new members of S13 the Unit Leader and new member must both speak with the Clan Leader, Mikebravo9er
4. No Clan Hopping: If you have successfully joined S13 and wear the S13 tag it is requested that you leave the tag on at all times. If you actively participate in another clan then there's no reason for you to be in S13. Some exceptions are made, but must be taken up with the clan leader.
5. Respect Clan members: That means that any Disrespectful talk about other S13 members will not be tolerated. All members have the right to voice their opinions on all matters, including that of how other members function in game. If you feel a member is not doing so well at a certain action you are entitled to your opinion, However it is requested that you show some discretion in your chosen words and respect that most members are trying their best for the good of the clan.
6. Complaints If there is a complaint against another member bring it to your immediate UL-(Unit Leader) who will in turn let the other UL's as well as the CL-(Clan Leader) know what the problem is and how it will be resolved.
7. Clan Matches: Matches will be decided by the Clan Leader who will discuss with the ULs the time and location based upon Members schedules.
8. Clan TIME: All S13 Events will be released in ZULU time to help coordinate members
It is requested that you contact s3kShUn08 on PSN letting him know your basic schedule so that he may create a Time Table to let everyone know when to expect clan members on.

Setting Time
Alright guys I'm posting today to solve the issue of Clan Match Making and the issues we have had with Time.
Currently S13s majpr members are spread across 3 time zones, Uniform, Romeo, And Kilo.
To help coordinate things I'm going to start announcing things in Military Zulu time format. SO an example would be Clan Match Sep 11th 1300 Zulu Time you would then convert it to your corresponding time with this chart.
(24 Hour Time MM:DD:YY)
Uniform - USA Pacific Coast -8 hours (0500 Uniform = 1300 Zulu)
Romeo - USA Eastern Coast -5 hours (0800 Romeo = 1300 Zulu)
Kilo - AUS Eastern Coast +10 hours (2300 Kilo = 1300 Zulu)
Zulu - UK Full Island =00 Hours
So If Mikebravo9er says:
Clan Match 9.10.11 1300 Kilo
For Uniform that's 9.9.11 1900 Uniform.
For Romeo that's 9.9.11 2200 Romeo.

A Little Off Topic
First off let me just say this is not S13 related in any way.
Now that that's over seeing as how I have no other alternative means of venting my current frustration I'm using this blog for a personal post to alleviate stress and to keep me busy. I'm not going into any details of why I'm so irate at this point in time because, and forgive any rudeness as it is not intended. It's No one eases' business than my own.
As you may or may not have noticed at this point in the rant. For those of You that know me a little more than other members you'll notice how my grammar has broadened more than the usual slew of slang terminology or profanities.
The one thing that you have to understand about me when I'm as aggravated as I am now, is that unlike most people that get hot headed and lose their composure. I trend more to analyzing, cleaning, and reverting to a more "Educated" state for the lack of a better term. In other words, I think. I delve into deep thoughts and ponder on the current situation to try and resolve my current dilemma, hence the correction in my terminology, speech, and grammar patterns.
The internet is a curios thing of mankind's making. It truly is the best example of mans need for social interaction on any level. Being connected with billions of other users, knowing that anytime of day someone is online. Whats even more curious is the current generations, "Fascination with documenting their every thought ion digital form."
As its been awhile since I started writing this the anger seems to have been sated for now by my other intellectual thoughts. Now I sit here mulling around the idea of whether or not to actually publish this post. The conclusion inevitably being yes as I see no reason not to post. I hope you enjoyed this evenings rant, as they are very few and far in between dont expect a follow up anytime soon.

S13 Recording games?
As of now S13 has no recording capabilities, other than the occasional camera phone or other SD recording method.
SierraBravo is looking at some other capture cards as one possible means to record videos for S13.
On my side of things I'm going to try getting a Blackmagic Intensity capture card link:http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/
I also have to continue to pay 2 prorders and a Stereo headset all in all about $400+ total after taxes, S+H fees.
With no job I it may take a little longer but the question is what takes priority. my 2 preoders are Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, and Dead Island. BF3 is already paid off. All 3 are released in a two month period. AC:AH is almost paid off should i drop Dead Island? that would leave just the Headset and Capture card Total of $300.
Since I have $100 now a few small jobs I can have the card in 10 weeks time and S13 will be in business.
So I'll buy the headset and my other prorder and hopefully have the other 200 by January
If I'm lucky in October I'll have a solid job again and it will be much easier.
Donations are nice as well :P
